E46 Filled Up Feed Up
Do you have room to grow?
I would imagine that many of you have access to the internet if you are listening to this podcast, reading this blog, finding us on facebook, iTunes, Stitcher, or getting email notifications. All of these sources can be found on the internet.
However, not under any false impressions that I am the only voice of fitness. In fact I listen to many other podcasts and watch Youtube clips of others engaged in fitness. With all the voices out there it can be hard to know who to listen to, who as the best information. who it worth getting filled in by. Well who says you have to choose, just one. I say find those voices who add something to your life and don't try to dominate your mind space. If you were to believe some of the loudest voices in fitness you would come to believe that every success in fitness comes from protein shakes, pre-workouts, steroids, and synthol. And if you listen to these voices too much it can distract you from filling your mind with things that can inspire you to lift strong and prosper. In fact by listening to these voices over and over you may even begin preparing yourself to use these very substances that are being sensationalized.
Those who are often Feed Up with one thing or another are often Filling you up with fear and follies. With diet and fitness advices always changing how can anyone genuinely say there is only one right path to fitness. Now I have my ideas of what has worked for me and others, but I do reserve the right to change my mind when new and hopefully reliable information is presented. And as many of you know who are subscribed and have listened to past episodes know that I try to be sceptical of health claims as far as it is healthy to do so. But beware of fitness fear monger who use fear to fill you up with things that in the end wont help you to lift strong and prosper.
Just a quick note on synthol and other injectables. Please see a doctor or even a plastic surgeon to review options before injecting yourself with stuff that could rot your body from inside out or cause muscle demolishing infections. Implants might be safer. And before for you spend stupid money on these fake fixes to fitness why not spend that money on a coach who can help you maximize your natural human potential first. But remember the more we fill up on unproductive ideas the more likely we are to get feed up and frustrated with fitness.
Now it is time to shock your body into shape. I have been engaged in a bulking rounds of exercises with high weight and low repetitions over these past months, however the itch of lean, mean, and ripped is creeping into a frenzy of excitement. But my life is not quite ready of the extra gym time needed for high reps. So as I have begun increasing my rep range I have decided to jump ahead. And do something I normally work up to.
100 reps do in a for 5 sets for 20 reps. This way I can get in an intense shorter workout with high rep range. But having just started increasing my rep range my mind is still ready to lift heavier then had I worked my way up to that range making these rounds more intense, muscle building, fat losing, and enjoyably, laughably, painfully. yummy.
So I encourage all you fitness freaks, geeks, and athletes to shock your body, Take a quick step and do your next week or round of exercise sessions doing all your exercises with a 5x20's for 100 reps. Even if you have to start heavy and move down in weight during that set try to keep the weight at what you might do for a warm up set of 10. That 10 -15 range you might be able to do try this week to do those exercises for 20 reps per set and 5 sets. And know that as you do it this week myself and other fitness, freaks, geeks, and athletes will be laughing our way through the pain with you. And we will all lift strong and prosper together.

E42 Everyday I am Hustling
To "Lift Strong" your need to build epic confidence. To "Lift Strong and Prosper" you must hustle.
In past episodes we have talked about how to build epic confidence. At some point I may have talked about how epic confidence is best built on positive truths which you can identify about yourself. The best way to identify positive truth about yourself is find some successes. Success that builds epic confidence come by the paying into the hustle.
There are millions of ways to prosper; a million ways to build success, however for prosperity to bring more prosperity and for success to bring more success it needs to built on a foundation of effort and knowledge. This sweet equity can only come through the hustle. Whether digging a foundation, or broking a contractor to do the same hustle in needed.
Hustle is needed to build the best body of your life. Hustle is need to build the best relationships of your life. Hustle is needed to build the best business of your life. Hustle is needed to climb the ranks, to get the grade, to past the test, to win the competition. All these great accomplishments have one thing very much often in common; Hustle.
Have I convinced you yet the hustle is important? Hustle is a battle to be the author of your life, to be the owner of your expression, to live as you would an not only as the wind would have you. Even those who seek "the simple life" need to hustle to keep the butter churning.
Once you have decided that "everyday your hustle'n," then need to commit to an effective hustle.
An effective hustle is one that builds knowledge and creates wisdom, An effective hustle builds stepping stones to help you reach hirer. It is however less effective to hustle at things which do not build knowledge, skill, or stepping stones. And that brings us to the more difficult part of hustling. Choosing your hustle.
There are three main areas choose your hustle Health, Wealth, and Relationships. Now I don't expect everyone to come to the same conclusion about what a healthy, what wealthy is and what good relationships are. However I think there is room for coming to terms on the need for hustle in these areas if you are a Fitness Freak, Geek. or Athlete.
Stay thirsty my friends. Never be satisfied with the knowledge you have the wisdom you use or the levels you have obtained. However, to build stepping stones to further you hustle you must recognize things that work and things that don't work. Hustle for hustle sake is less effective.
Thinks I suggest to improve your hustle
- Health
- Dedicate quality time daily to health and wellness
- Always be willing to learn something new even if you're simply learning what someone else thinks about it
- Wealth
- Become a student of how to add value to the lives of others
- Have more than one poker in the fire (diversify in your income as well as investments)
- Do not deal in desperation or emotion; unless you admit that you are.
- Relationships
- Do not deal in desperation or emotion; unless you admit that you are.
- Respect yourself so you can respect others
- If you have trouble finding quality relationships; widen your field
- If you have trouble quantity of relationships; narrow your field

E41 How to Master Weight Loss
Yes, mastering these things are possible. A while there may not be one single diet or routine that fits everyone in every state of life (ie, simple fix,) There are some steps to follow to gain control.
Step 1: Acknowledge where you are currently.
- This includes weight, height, percent body fat
- A pound of body fat take up more volume than a pound of muscle. So you can weight more a look better if you focus more on fat loss and weight gain than wight loss and fat gain.
- You are not to blame, however your food might be.
- You are not to blame your current workout routine is.
- Because most people focus on weight loss they often waste time on the search for what works and not was currently is not working.
- If the current foods or routine is not working for you find out which foods and routines are to blame and remove them.
- If it doesn't help you loss body fat is it helping you gain weight.
- It as much about body fat loss as it is about gaining weight.
- If you can find what helps you gain weight then you know what to remove to lose weight.
- While this might not be your first choice of diets or exercises routines give something new a try. You can learn just a much from what does work as from what doesn't work. Just keep learning and a don't be timid to find out why it does or more likely doesn't work.
Step 5: Finish the program.
- Don't start a program you really don't intend to finish
- Finish the program even if you suck at it.
- What you can learn by completing the program will count for more when you have completed the program.
- Even if you suck at it; the confidence gained from completion will serve you more at weight mastery than moving on to something which may or may not be a more effective mastery tool.
